Zoo Montana

We left Saturday, August 15th at 4:00 a.m., 3 kids, 2 adults and 1 dog, and made our way to Roundup, Montana! It took just about 14 hours total, but we made it! We relaxed the next day and hung out around the house. It was a cool day and I was glad I packed jeans for the kids! The girls took advantage of the nice cool weather and caught grasshoppers!

Bailey helped to look too!

One day was school shopping for both girls, yep Morgan will start Pre-School on September 9th and McKenna will be in the 4th grade starting August 31st! Where did the summer go? Then Mom and I took the 3 kids to Zoo Montana in Billings! Unfortunately the majority of the animals were snoozing or hiding, but we did get to see the wolves, tiger, bear and river otters! The otters were Connor's favorite.

Rides at the Fair

The Big slide was a HUGE hit! I think Morgan went down at least 10 times by herself!

And the roller coaster! The girls LOVED it!

2009 Union County Fair

McKenna and Morgan did the Kids Pedal Tractor Pull for the first time this year! McKenna had to pull 150 lbs. and Morgan got an empty bucket, it was based on age. Way to go girls!

When we got to the fair at 5:45 p.m. it was still 101 degrees! Luckily some clouds moved in, which seemed to cool things off a little and before we knew it the sun was going down! We didn't leave until 9:30! I was pooped, but the girls could have easily gone more! Still had fun, wish they would have had a carousel.
