Family Portraits 2011

Nothing much to say, except another year captured in photos!! And yes I was the photographer in all but two of these!!!

Santa Train 2011

Since it was brought to my attention that I have not been keeping my blog current I figured I would start with our trip on the Santa Train.  Connor was a 1 1/2 last time we did this, it didn't run last year, so we thought it would be fun to do again! The kids had a great time, the weather was cloudy and REALLY cold (20 degrees when we boarded). Beautiful scenery the whole way, and Connor was able to see some animals!!! I just love these fun little things we are able to do!

Waiting patiently for passengers to load!!

 Mommy and her baby!!!

Guess this is why it's called a Santa Train!! :-)

 Me and Kenna!

 Morgan enjoying the view!

LOVE this picture, the refection, the look on his face and the river! Pictures are worth a thousand words!

Connor was the only one who tracked Santa down to sit on his lap!!!

 Just the boys!!

A rare occasion of sisterly love!

Daddy showing Connor the ducks on the river, and a buck deer laying down on the hill!!

McKenna and Connor checking on Santa!!

Until next time Santa Train, thanks for the ride!!

Easter 2011

A little late and a little out of order I am sure, but here are pictures from Easter!

Connor checks out the book he got from Grammie, of course he LOVED it!

Baskets from the Easter Bunny! (Morgan on left, Connor in the center and McKenna)

Connor makes his way down the steps in search of eggs left behind by the Easter Bunny. The ONLY time mom lets him run around outside in his footies!

Morgan at the La Grande Country Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt. I was working the hospital's Health Fair, so Eric took the kids!

McKenna is officially "too old" for this egg hunt so she helped out Connor!

Check out all those eggs!!

Connor's name was drawn and he won a basket full of goodies!

Easter morning after we were done at home we headed to Enterprise to spend the day with Great Grandma Bessie!!

Egg hunting in the backyard!

McKenna had a hole in her bag, when she realized she was losing eggs she quickly ran to grab them before Connor who was hot on the trail snatched them up!

Connor and his Great Grandma Bessie!!

Happy Easter!

Multnomah Falls - Spring Break 2011

As usual my pics have uploaded backwards! This was our Spring Break getaway, to Portland. We had hopes of going to the zoo, but it was pretty chilly out and with Connor just getting better from his pneumonia we didn't think it would be good to have him out in the cold for that long! So instead on our way into Portland we stopped by Multnomah Falls! Connor has never been and it's been about 3-4 years since Morgan has been!

Morgan and Connor heading back to the truck!! Aren't they cute holding hands!!

No matter how many times we stop, these falls are just breathtaking every time!!!
This cool tree was on the way to the stone bridge! Picture stop!!

Connor was mesmerized by all the "fuzzy" stuff and the little streams, etc along the trail!!!

I do love this little boy!! He's such a lover!!

This was before we headed up to the bridge, Morgan was a bit unsure!!

McKenna on the bridge!! A little misty, which made Morgan's hair curl!

Connor and Dad at the base of the falls!!

My three kiddos!!

Connor very anxious to go see the water!!

Sledding Fun!!

Today, it started snowing and snowing and snowing...so what did we do?? We went sledding. We took a walk just 3 blocks up the rode to the elementary school and had fun sledding down the hill. McKenna went down every direction she could think of!!

Sometimes the sled had a mind of its own!
Sometimes she used a little puppy power! Abbey loved running and playing in the snow right alongside the kids.

Morgan was sitting up when she started!!

Love Connor's big ol' smile, he was having so much fun!

Dad helping Connor walk to the top

Go Morgan, Go!

Oops Connor was sitting to far back on the sled while going uphill, good thing there is such a soft landing!

An EXTREMELY snowy walk back home to warm up!
