Boys! Don't mess with my girl!!

It was still 90 degrees when we got to the field! Poor kids!

McKenna did such an awesome job at soccer tonight, she really got into it! And she wasn't letting any boy get in her way! I think the little boy in the picture above ended up on the ground! Yep, that's my girl!! No frills and lace for McKenna!

Connor's Firsts!

Connor took his first steps the day after his 1st birthday, I was so excited that my mom and Ken were able to be here when it happened!

And now we have words! Well just one, "hi," which he has been saying for about 2 weeks.Tonight I was finally able to catch it on video. I guess it's all in the timing!!

Mowing at the Trap Club

The last two years Eric has been the President of the La Grande Trap Club, not always a glamorous job! And he has mowed the large field each year with the help of his assistants! Sitting in the cool grass on a hot July evening was the perfect way to end a long day!

Celebrating the 4th of July in Bend

Thursday, July 2nd, after work, we hooked on the trailer, loaded up the kiddos and set off to Bend. Well actually we were camping in Millican, about 30 minutes outside of Bend. Eric was shooting in the Oregon State Trap Shoot and I was hoping to get some summer shopping done. We didn't get parked until 1:15 AM, yuck and we were up by 6-6:30 the next morning! We are glad to be home!

Connor's 1st Birthday!

Friday, June 26th at 12:07 p.m. Connor officially turned one year old! The time has just flown by! The next day we celebrated his birthday with family and friends at Riverside Park! All weekend Connor has been taking steps here and there and today he did the most ever, he took 5 steps towards unopened toy! It won't be long and he'll be running right behind the girls! Congratulations Troy and Sunshyne! I can't believe she said yes, what is she thinking! Who would want to marry MY brother, YUCK! :)

Morgan is no longer the size of a two year old! She is growing, slowly but surely! I took these pictures two years apart and it's amazing how much you can see when they are side by side. It's true, they do grow up right in front of your eyes!
